Baby on Board

So, we've made it through the stages of IVF and had a successful first try - yay! 

We found out on November 19 that we are, indeed, finally pregnant. 

On December 10, we saw the baby (then a tiny blob) for the first time, and saw the flicker of its heart beating.  (What an amazing thing to witness... as a life is growing inside my abdomen!)

On January 5, we had our first appointment with OB... and not only heard the baby's heart beating; but we saw it moving... and moving... and moving some more.  It seemed that every time I laughed, it would spur the baby to wiggle wildly; I laughed every time the baby moved... so you can see the vicious cycle here.

We've been working feverishly to get things organized and moved around to our liking since finding out the baby will be here, ready or not, in July (July 27 is the due date).  I've been cleaning things up and trying to reorganize different closets in the house to accommodate displaced things from the closet in the nursery...and we've been putting cleaners and different types of chemicals in safer locations so we can secure them when the time comes.

Expecting a baby is hard work!
