Busy life

Wow... time has once again flown by! We've had busy times and it seems like things are so happy flying along that they refuse to settle down.

We are finally through family funerals. (Thank goodness) I don't mind honoring the lives of loved ones... but when you have two in a week, it really takes a toll on you as a person and as a couple. Poor Rob had to make two trips to and from Chicago that week - and I think he's glad it's over with and we can go back to our normal lives.

The nursery should hopefully be completed this weekend. I have the fabric to complete the pillows... and I have it on good authority that the wall clings will arrive either today or tomorrow (yay!). I can't wait to have the room finished save a few little minor adjustments.

I am thinking of pulling the bookshelf we got the baby out of the room and putting it in a different location... I've also thought of different ways I can possibly look at rearranging the furniture to make the room a little more cohesive... but it's difficult when everyone frowns at you for trying to do things yourself. :) I have thought of a couple of very minor changes that might work, I might try them out soon.

The next big event is the baby shower - June 25. I can't believe how quickly time is passing! Just a few short weeks and this little bundle of kicks and hiccups will be outside in the world with the rest of us!
