So, I must share with you the tale of my drive home last Friday (June 26). Mostly because of the completely ironic end to the story.
I'm driving out of downtown. Sitting at the corner of 4th and 1st in downtown Rochester. Nothing too exciting there... except there is some moron sitting there, blocking the turn lane for no really good reason (the turn lane is used for parking during the day, but all meters are free at 5.) I pull into the intersection, thinking maybe this will spur the person who is so gracefully blocking the lane to move. No go.
The light for the north-bound traffic turns green... and here I am sitting in the middle of the intersection because the biggest idiot in the universe is apparently sitting in front of me with no clue of the world around them. The guy in the north bound lane starts to creep forward - HELLO jerk!!! I am obviously not able to go anywhere and your moving closer to me is surely not going to change this.
So I decide to make a move and try to gracefully go around the stooge in the vehicle in front of me... when they pull into the turn lane without signaling (at least I signaled properly!), cutting me off... and turn south on Broadway! Finally, a miracle...
Right as I'm starting to say to myself: "What kind of a moronic freaking clown blocks a turn lane and then gets into said turn lane and turns? Seriously! You could have had me killed you..." we both make it around the corner before the light manages to turn red... at this point I want to get a good look at this idjit.
So, I am sitting next to the person in the offending vehicle... I peek over nonchalantly... and I kid you not... the person in the car next to me is, quite literally, a clown. Clown outfit, clown makeup... the red nose... everything. Seriously folks, I could not make this stuff up.
The only thing that would make the story better (and I'm sure I'm going to hear about the lack of this crucial element) would be photographic evidence... alas, my cell was sitting in the back seat and I couldn't reach it in time.
The moral of this story: Just because you are dressed like a clown and acting like a clown... you do not get granted persmission to drive like an idiot!

A little bit different... maybe not so much.
So many things change so fast... I've settled to hold on tight and enjoy the ride!
