As usual, July 4 came in silently and departed with a bang.
Rob and I had our usual gathering - but it was quite a bit smaller this year, which made it a lot easier to get to talk to the guests. We had several party goers that hung out until 4:15 in the morning. (I love having guests, but it was nice to crawl into bed after such an active day).
The fireworks were nice - and our neighbors chimed in with some extras so the show was spectacular. We will more than likely be doing the same again next year. Yay!
