I have seen these floating around and thought I would make a list of my own. I admit, I pirated the idea from a friend's blog.
Likes:
• My family – on both sides. I was blessed with the most supportive and loving parents anyone could ask for. I don’t think words can even express my gratitude for the care they took to make sure I grew into a well-rounded, educated adult. I also have the greatest siblings anyone could ask for… and an amazing niece and nephew that make me laugh every time I see them.
• I am fortunate to have married into an awesome family as well. My in-laws are amazing and I love them very much.
• My husband – he’s the most understanding, honest, loyal and loving person I know. I honestly don’t know what I would do without him.
• My pets – I love coming home to them. They make me smile.
• Photography – I’ve been taking pictures since I was 17. I love capturing life and making memories. It’s my escape – and it’s very satisfying knowing my art will bring smiles to faces for years to come.
• Snow – in my opinion, there is nothing more relaxing than snuggling up with a warm blanket and a mug of hot cocoa (alcohol optional) to watch fat snowflakes fall.
• Traveling – exploring new places and going on adventures is great fun.
• My job – I work with a great group of people… and I love it!
• My mom’s Paella – no one makes it like mom… and I love her home cooking!
• Dad’s brisket – ‘nuff said.
• Going home – I can’t even explain the feeling of turning down Triple X road (keep it to yourselves, folks... this is really the name of their road; it was named after Triple XXX Ranch), knowing I’ll get to see my family again in mere minutes.
• Our kitten’s purr. She purrs so loudly! It’s really one of the most comforting sounds imaginable.
• My friends.
• Singing – I don’t do it often, but I love to.
• Reading – I love to escape with a good book.
• That our kitty plays fetch better than most dogs.
Dislikes:
• Stupid, common senseless drivers who refuse to pay attention… yet flip you off when you honk because they almost hit you when trying to change into your lane without looking first.
• That Bella hasn’t learned to snuggle yet. I know she’s only 8 months old… but still…
• Condescending looks – no matter how much you think someone deserves them, keep them to yourself.
• Rude children. Not children being children… children who are blatantly rude due to lack of instruction. Teach your kids manners!
• Shopping during busy seasons of the year. I don’t dislike crowds, but I do dislike waiting in endless lines.
• Pushy salespeople – annoy me enough and I’ll just leave.
• Sales people who lie to you or ignore you – let’s face it, neither is a sound business practice. (I prefer shopping in sweats. Sales people that treat me like a human despite this gain my trust and respect.)
• Gloppy ink pens. They may be brand new, I’ll still throw them away.
• Whining – to me, it is the most annoying vocal tone.
• Flatulence. It wasn’t funny when you were 15… it’s not funny now!
• Watching what I eat and drink, working out diligently and not losing weight. (Really, it is that frustrating!)
• Moments of unwarranted complete silence – often referred to as the calm before the storm. (I never know how to react to them.)
That's it in a nut shell. Hope you enjoyed this insight into me. :)
