Catching Up

I know I haven't blogged in a while - it's been moderately busy... but I'll try to catch it up here.

We have discussed taking Apollo to the Dog Park a few times - we still haven't done it. I worry because of his hip displaysia - yes, it's mild... but we need to get him to stop scratching so that his hip quits acting up. I'm afraid that his problem will amplify itself if he gets too rough wrestling with other pups. Still, we are looking into going ahead and taking him once the weather cools off a bit.

We made a deposit with the cat breeder. They are attempting to breed a litter now... hopefully there will be a cute, fuzzy Ragdoll kitten in our future. *fingers crossed*

I'm now reading the Sookie Stackhouse series of books (the books that brought about the True Blood series on HBO). So far, they are pretty good. They are action packed and about different supernatural creatures; so I love them. **I am seriously thinking it's about time to look into getting a Kindle... I know they are a bit pricey, but I have been buying tons of reading material lately and I tend to hang onto the books I like... so there are books all over the house. Perhaps a Kindle would help with the storage problems.**

A week ago last Sunday, I took a spill off a chair and almost bit through my lower lip. I was trying to get at something that was hanging above the hallway opening in our upstairs... and I lost my footing. You would think that, after all these years, I'd realize that I should just give in and use a ladder. The wounds are almost completely healed... and my pride is losing its bruises as well.

That's about it. Have a great remainder of the week and weekend.

The dog park is so much fun! I've been taking our new puppy Belle there a lot and she just loves it, she gets to run around and play with other dogs and just have a good time and I just like watching her enjoy herself. The one on the south end of town is particularly fun because of the creek there that they can swim in. They do have water there for the dogs to drink if you're worried about overheating. Hope you have fun there!

A little bit different... maybe not so much.

So many things change so fast... I've settled to hold on tight and enjoy the ride!
