For the first time in my life, I own a cat that doesn't give me this look when I tell her to bring me a toy. She may not come running on the first request... but if I ask her and then wait, she will bring me one of her little Pet Stages Fish toys... which she loves. We play fetch with them... I think it's odd that she does this better than our dog - a Golden Retriever.

That is pretty funny. My parents' dog Belle doesn't ever want to do anything but play fetch. I'm pretty sure she'd fetch tennis balls until her heart exploded if we kept throwing them for her.
Our kitten, Bella is the one who plays fetch... Apollo will play it for a little while; but he gives up quickly.
