Week #4

Sorry there was no week four post. We had a really busy week.

My parents came up from Oklahoma on Thursday. Friday we left work early and went home... to head to Wausau, Wisconsin. You see, it was my grandmother's 95th birthday on April 20, and the family came together to celebrate her on Saturday.

I dressed the boys in little street urchin style outfits, this was the style for young boys when she was a girl. They were absolutely precious. The boys are adorable as it is, but holy cats did they look cute!

The party was nice. I woke up at 7am to make a photo board for grandma of the photos we had dug up and my aunt had sent from throughout her life. It turned out really nice. Everyone loved it. We came together, ate, and had some time to touch base with family members we hadn't seen in ages. It was a nice time.

Sunday morning, we met up with my aunt and uncle as well as my cousin and his wife and had breakfast before returning home.

So... here we sit. My father helped my hubby install our new patio door yesterday. They went home this morning... and now it's time to get back to our normal pace for a week and a half before heading on another adventure.
