Week #5

There is something so comforting in leaving your kids with something and not dreading what you're going to hear when you pick them up. It has been five weeks at the new daycare. In five weeks, our older boy has been timed out once. That's right folks, one time in five weeks.

He has reduced to getting crazy only when he is tired. He is agreeable, happy, and playful at home. He actually helps us out when asked. It's amazing.

The little one no longer cries when we get to daycare. Instead, he lunges out of my arms into his provider's. Smiles and says "bye bye" while blowing me a kiss.

I can't describe how much better my days go with the knowledge my kiddos are happy and being cared for in a loving and understanding way by someone who actually loves what they are doing.

It's liberating, to say the least.

A little bit different... maybe not so much.

So many things change so fast... I've settled to hold on tight and enjoy the ride!
