So tired...

i honestly have never understood why they don't declare the day after Thanksgiving/Christmas as holidays and give us the day off...

not that i am complaining, because it is kind of nice to get things accomplished... but it sometimes pays to have some sort of diversion - on regular days, there are admin. assistants here and i can bug them for little projects to keep me occupied and make the time pass. today, however, i don't have that luxury. (and it's that much more difficult, as i was here at 7am this morning and am starting to feel the effects of a late night last night that was filled with far too much food and a little too much wine).

i have run out of things to do and the little gnome that normally misplaces things has placed his hind end firmly on the pause button... making time crawl by ever so slowly. if you find him, please remove him so we can all join the throngs of lucky souls that are already at home enjoying their weekend.
