First Week Report

As you may have noted in yesterday's post... the new daycare has been working out splendidly. The boys seem to be tired and ready to chill when they get home, they go to sleep earlier, they wake up happy and ready to go. It's such a different story than a month ago.

This morning, our oldest woke up and rolled around a bit, but he eventually got up, got himself dressed, and came out to the living room. As we were eating breakfast, he asked for some tater tots (not his norm... he usually doesn't like breakfast). He ate some and shared with his brother.

Thank you Lord!

The drive to daycare was happy. He chatted with us, the little guy happily chattered in his car seat. It was splendid.

They both waved goodbye and wished us well as we left for the day.

I am delighted to see my boys come home tired and ready to relax. We haven't had to correct the older one much more than a simple "hey, don't do that" whereas we used to have to struggle and brace ourselves for a bossy and temperamental retort. Now, he says "okay" and goes to do something else.

Such a blessing! We have our sweet boy back. And we can look forward to our little one following the example of his big brother now.

A little bit different... maybe not so much.
