I usually start planning birthday parties early - to make sure I'm well prepared by the time they hit. Rob's birthday is in September... and I think I've already picked out the "cake".
This year, I am going to make an attempt to bake Chocolate Stout Cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache and Bailey's Buttercream Icing.

I don't think mine are going to look exactly like these... I may leave the ganache out and do something different with the icing - we'll see.
